5. Promoting digitization (3) Future efforts It is necessary to understand digital technology not only for those in charge of the textile industry and industry groups, but also for management. Furthermore, dissemination of best practices in the use of digital technology that contributes to sustainability is expected to stimulate efforts within the textile industry. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry has prepared an IT introduction subsidy and a DX certification system. Also, this year, the Industrial Competitiveness Enhancement Law was revised, and a new plan approval system was included as a "response to digitalization." By disseminating these support measures, it is expected that digitization will be further promoted.

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry supports the promotion of digitalization in the textile industry and industry associations in various ways. At any rate, companies are making efforts to introduce digital technology and promote its use.
